SHORT TERM MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

Book of Hope/One Hope:  Nicaragua

Dates: July 17 - 25, 2010

Cost: $1,700

Trip Details:

• Partnering with 'One Hope' who are currently conducting surveys in Nicaraguan cities to determine what the greatest 'felt needs' of the people are.
• PORTICO team will partner with local churches to serve into projects that meet these needs.
• Some examples are building programs, feeding programs, children and youth ministries.

Eagles Cove Camp: Thunder Bay (& then some)

Dates: July 23 - Aug 1

Cost: $750

Trip Details:

• Ministry to Aboriginal children and families through friendship, sports and activities, teaching, testimonies, and devotional times.
• Team members will serve as chapel speakers, camp activity leaders, sports activity leaders, cabin counselors, small group leaders, craft leaders, worship leaders, and give personal testimonies.
• Open to senior youth (age 16 and up), young adults, families, grandparents.
