Water Baptism
There is no greater life journey than wholeheartedly following Jesus Christ. To do this is to declare to the world that I not only believe in Christ, but that I belong to him and am in the process of becoming his apprentice.
Water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of my faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. It is also an outward sign that I have been joined to the body of Christ, and am now a part of the global community of faith.
Water baptism has special meaning and significance here at PORTICO, as our entire congregation joins in worship to God and celebration with those being baptized.
